As part of our online group class feature, students needed the ability to view and reserve spots in upcoming classes. This involved real-time updates — as other students reserved and canceled seats in classes, the current user would see the which classes were filling up in real time. As classes ended they were removed from view, and at midnight the next day’s classes would load.
